The couple that loses weight together. . . stays together?? People magazine is reporting that Matt (Hoover) and Suzy (Preston) are now a couple. Matt and Suzy lost a combined 252 pounds as contestants on The Biggest Loser 2. "I think it's going to be great," says Hoover, 29, a former wrestling coach. "She is awesome." "I saw him at his worst, absolutely," says Preston, 29. "And he saw me at my worst. He saw me sweating and passing gas." Those are lovely quotes BTW. How does one see somebody passing gas? Maybe she was diligent about showing off when she let loose. I did point out that Matt and Suzy were two of the few single people in the whole contest. And I recall the haircut she gave him (maybe that's where it all got started). They obviously have the whole "losing weight together" angle, but there is a financial rub. Matt took home the $250,000 grand prize, of course, but Suzy won $25,000 as second runner-up. The romance is currently a long-distance relationship. Matt lives in Iowa, and is contemplating a move to be closer to Suzy in Seattle, according to People. I will try not to be cynical (and jealous, since I thought Suzy was cute), so to the new couple, good luck and stay away from buffets.
